Maintenance
A clean, well-maintained streetscape is essential to the vibrancy and appeal of Oak Park. The district supports this vision through hands-on care and consistent attention to public spaces, helping create an inviting environment for everyone who lives, works, and visits the area.
Services include graffiti abatement, litter and refuse removal, landscaping and trash pickup.
Safety & Security
The Oak Park Business District is committed to creating a safe and secure environment for businesses, residents, and visitors.
Our ongoing safety and security efforts have been developed to work hand-in-hand with many of the other services the district provides, including our maintenance and nuisance abatement programs. Additional programs have been put in place to support businesses directly, such as our Vandalism Relief and Security System matching grants. Many of the properties in the district do provide private security, and our staff stays in close contact with those providers, and will often use our extensive network to communicate and share information with other stakeholders.
